ABOUT FLAT ROOF TECHMore Than Just A Pretty Roof
Roofing Contractors Specializing In Flat Roofs
With over 70 years combined experience in the construction and roofing industry, there isn’t much we haven’t seen. Having worked for building material manufacturers, owned greenfield distributors, operated as general contractors, and installed everything from slate to solar – Flat Roof Tech has seen it before.
These experiences provide an understanding of the entire value chain of the construction industry. From raw materials, to manufacturers, to distributors, to contractors and ultimately the building owner- we understand both the path and how each respective entity makes money and adds value.
With experience working in several states, we have a a strong footing in macroeconomic trends which can greatly mitigate labor price volatility in specific geographic markets.
While a certification is not mandatory in all states, who would you rather replace or restore your roof? Pulling out a few teeth doesn’t make you a dentist. Replacing a few roofs doesn’t make you a roofer.
Committed to Excellence
“No battle plan survives first contact with the enemy”- Helmuth von Moltke.
“Very few constructions schedules survive after the kick-off meeting” – Seasoned Project Manager.
While most contractors can plan, very few can successfully navigate setbacks from weather, material delays, sub interference, and major changes of scope.
Flat Roof Tech thrives in an uncertainty and is committed to stakeholder satisfaction before, during, and after project completion.
Flat Roof Tech’s Founder
Austin Hill spent much of his childhood on jobsites learning about construction through his father’s company. After an undergraduate degree in engineering, Austin served with distinction as an officer in the United States Army. Returning home from a tour in Iraq, he completed a 4-year tour of corporate America and was a nationally recognized HVAC sales engineer at a Fortune 50 company. Austin co-founded a start-up roofing distribution company during his last semester of business school. After a few years and an excess of 20M in revenue, he was eager to get back to his contracting roots, and successfully sold his ownership.
